Faux FEMA
Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, but, a few days ago, FEMA held a press conference that was systematically orchestrated to perpetrate a fraud on the American people. With a mere 15 minutes notice, FEMA held a press conference to give a status update on wildfire response. There was a dial-in connection allowed for outside media, but they were not allowed to ask questions themselves.
In the room was a man answering questions, and no less than 15 “press” members, who were in fact FEMA employees. A question and answer session commenced:
This is the type of thing you would expect of Stalinist Russia. No doubt the mainstream media is fairly miffed, lashing out with damning headlines:

This last headline is noticeably missing from the mainstream media response. What everybody seems to be considering ‘regretful’ and a ‘folly’ is in fact sinister. The spokesperson behind the podium should be fired. Every participant fake reporter should be fired. The person behind the camera should be fired. Every person who knew anything about this press conference before it happened should be fired. Oh, and the president should also bar these people from federal service. (If anybody was serious about upholding their oaths to uphold the constitution, they would eliminate FEMA altogether, but . . . baby steps)
Goebbels-like staged press conferences do not go on in a free country. So the question is, what kind of country are we living in?
