Six Cops Beat Man at His Home Without Cause
Next time your car alarm annoys the neighbors, don’t be surprised to find six cops on your front lawn seizing your truck. Plus, they’ll beat and mace you if you try and stand on your own property and ask them what they’re doing.
There are a lot of these types of videos on the internet, and the common problem seems to be that the victim tries to argue with the police. Cops almost invariably try to expand their power by intimidation - in this video it is done by saying “go back in your house or you’re going to jail.” And yes, the inclination is to point out that the cop is wrong. It won’t work.
I think the proper response is this: “If you’re going to arrest me for standing on my front lawn, DO IT. If I’m not in custody, stop ordering me around.”
Here is a video from earlier in the day when the cops try to lure him out of his house to beat him (language). I guess they didn’t realize the camera also was taking audio.
