Forrest Gump is a Great Movie
![]()
If you watched Forrest Gump and thought it was just a movie about a dumb guy who has a bunch of unlikely things happen to him, consider watching it again. This is one of the two movies that can draw a tear from my eye.
Forrest can’t really understand or appreciate most of the things that happen to him. The things he does care about are tragic - Bubba’s death, the death of his mother, Jenny’s indiscretion and eventual death. Even though it might have been by accident, Forrest Gump always knew what was important. He put others before himself. Did he not know any better?
